Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the nofocus browser extension and the nofoc.us website. By installing or using nofocus, you agree to them.

1. Use of nofocus

nofocus is a focus tool that redirects sites you choose to block to a reflection screen and adds a deliberate friction step before unlocking them. You agree to use it for lawful, personal purposes. nofocus is a self-discipline aid, not a security or parental-control product, and should not be relied on as a guaranteed block.

2. Free and Pro

The core of nofocus is free. nofocus Pro unlocks additional features and is a one-time purchase of $5.90 — there is no subscription and no recurring charge. A Pro purchase is tied to the email you use at checkout.

3. Payments

Pro purchases are processed by our payment provider ExtensionPay via Stripe. Payment is charged once at the time of purchase. We do not receive or store your card details. Your use of checkout is also subject to the terms of ExtensionPay and Stripe.

4. Refunds

If nofocus Pro isn't right for you, contact sergej@mindcom.io within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you. Statutory consumer rights, where they apply, remain unaffected.

5. Intellectual property

The nofocus name, design, and software are the property of the operator (see Legal Notice) and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of the extension without written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

6. Disclaimer

nofocus is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It is not a medical, psychological, or addiction-treatment service and is not a substitute for professional advice. We do not guarantee that any site will always be blocked or that the tool will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, nofocus. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. for intent or gross negligence).

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of nofocus after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
